Description

Green 1930s front door with textured obscure glass.  Some 1930s houses built in London, have the front doors fitted into an angled porch, creating a wide covered veranda.  This architectural design means that the door is kept out of the weather, so it will really last.  The striking feature of this door design is the simplicity.  There are three oblong glazed panels over three flat wooden panels.   The glazing is a classic texture, so it provides privacy inside the house.  The front door has stained wood inside, to compliment the hall, and is a traditional 1930s green paint outside.   All glass is double glazed and the door has extremely efficient draught and weather proofing- so the house is warm.
