Description
This intricate Victorian front door and double sidelight frame showcases spectacular gothic shaped leaded glass panels and a matching fanlight. The traditional geometric stained glass design features Muranese glass rolled with flowers, smooth waterglass borders, antique cathedral glass and coloured rondels. The door has been crafted with gunstock stiles, a design element which is typical of the Victorian period, where the width of the door is tapered at the glass panels in order to maximise lightflow into the hall. Detailed scroll mouldings surround the grooved boarded panels in the door and sidelights. The unlacquered brass furniture will develop a patina over time to further enhance the period look of this Victorian front door.
